Led by captain Luka Modrić, Croatia picked up their first point of their Euro campaign against Albania. Our player completed the entirety of what was a pulsating encounter. Albania went ahead through Laçi on 11', but Croatia turned the game around in the second half with two goals inside three minutes. Kramarić (74’) struck first, before Gjasula turned into his own net to make it 2-1.
In injury time, Gjasula was his country's hero, making it 2-2 with 95 minutes on the clock. Modrić's Croatia team now face Italy in their third and final game of the Group Stage (Monday, 24 June, 9:00 pm CEST).
