LaLiga leaders Real Madrid recorded their fourth consecutive league victory in Valladolid and increased their lead over second-placed Atlético to four points. Ancelotti's men gave a very solid performance, going into half-time with a 1-0 lead after Mbappé showed his goal-scoring prowess again on the half-hour mark. The Frenchman, who has found the net in his last five games, was again decisive after the break: he extended the lead in the 57th minute before completing his first hat-trick as a Real Madrid player in added time by converting a penalty. Our team is top yet again.

Valladolid started strongly and the first dangerous opportunity went to the home side after just two minutes following a corner that D. Torres headed goal words that forced Courtois to be at his best to keep out. Our goalkeeper was once again required to make a good save to stop Sylla's shot from the edge of the box in the 24th minute. From then on there was only one team on the pitch at the José Zorrilla: Real MadridRüdiger sent a warning signal in the 25th minute with a powerful long-range shot before Mbappé put Ancelotti's side ahead after half an hour. Five players were involved in the move. It was started by Rodrygo, continued by Ceballos and Valverde and taken up a notch by Bellingham and Mbappé, with a nice one-two assist from the Englishman and a fine finish from the Frenchman.
Mbappé: eight goals in the last five games
The game did not change after the break and Madrid extended their lead in a lightning counterattack in the 57th minute. It was Rodrygo who drove into the area and there he found Mbappé, who masterfully finished with the inside of his right foot. The 0-2 made Valladolid throw caution to the wind to try and get back into the game but this left lots of space for Ancelotti's men.

Mbappé's third nearly arrived in the 66th minute from another combination with Bellingham but the Frenchman crashed his left-footed shot from just inside the area into the side netting. Modrić also had a chance to score after a lovely pass from Arda Güler but the Croatian's 85th-minute shot missed the goal by inches. Finally, in added time, Mbappé scored his first hat-trick as a Real Madrid player by converting the penalty awarded for a foul by Mario Martín on Bellingham. The midfielder also received a second yellow card and was sent off. Real Madrid are top of the table yet again.
