Angeldahl signs for Real Madrid
The Swedish international midfielder arrives from Manchester City and is our team's first signing for the 2024/25 season.
Filippa Angeldahl has signed for Real Madrid ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. The 26-year-old midfielder joins after spending the last three seasons at Manchester City, where she won the League Cup in 2022.
Before switching to English football, she started her career in Sweden in 2013 with IK Sirius, AIK, Hammarby, Linköpings and BK Häcken, where she picked up a league title and a Swedish Cup. At international level for her country, she has won a European Under-19 Championship and a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
