Sergio Llull has become the most capped player in the history of the Euroleague. In playing his 426th game, the Real Madrid captain now overtakes the American Kyle Hines, who played 425 matches.
On 14 February 2008, Llull made his Euroleague debut against Zalgiris Kaunas in Vistalegre. That was the beginning of his love-affair with the competition, which he has won three times (2015, 2018 and 2023). But in addition to the titles, he has left historic moments such as the impossible basket against Olympiacos to give Madrid the Undécima. Llull is also the player with the most wins in the competition as well as the leader in three-pointers. For all these reasons, our captain, who has spent 18 seasons at the club, was included in the Euroleague team of the decade (2010-2020).
