Rudy Fernández, chosen as one of the 25 best players in Euroleague history
The Real Madrid legend joins his former teammates Llull, Tavares, Sergio Rodríguez, and Doncic on the list announced by the top continental competition.
Rudy Fernández has been included in the list of the 25 best players in the history of the Euroleague, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The vote was made by fans, the past seasons' MVPs, members of the teams from the decades 2000-2010 and 2010-2020, winning coaches, and the media. The forward is the fifth Real Madrid player to be included on the list after Llull, Tavares, Sergio Rodríguez, and Doncic.
In his 14 seasons in the Euroleague, 13 with Real Madrid, Rudy won 3 titles, all with our shirt (2015, 2018, and 2023) and was twice named in the competition's best five. In addition, the Balearic player won a Rising Star award in the 2006/07 campaign. The legend of our club and of world basketball joins the list of the 25 best players that the Euroleague has been announcing each week and which also includes, in addition to Llull, Tavares, Sergio Rodríguez and Doncic, Siskauskas, Spanoulis, De Colo, Vujcic, Mike James, Micic, Diamantidis, Anthony Parker, Bodiroga, Teodosic, Printezis, Batiste, Bogdanovic, Hines, Navarro, Papaloukas, Jasikevicius, Larkin, Ginobili and Sloukas.
