Chus Mateo: “Winning this game would give us a lot of confidence”
“Joventut are playing really well and they're are a team with many offensive talents,” explained the coach on Realmadrid TV.
Chus Mateo spoke to Realmadrid TV the day before League matchday 19 in which the team will host Joventut (6:30pm CET; Movistar Plus+): “They’re playing really well, they beat us at home. It's an important game because of what it could mean for the standings, although there are still a lot of games left in the Regular League. It is important because it would give us a good lead over them. In any case, we have to do our day-to-day work and not get too far ahead of ourselves. We shouldn't think about what it would mean or wouldn't mean, but to focus on the fact that they are a team with many offensive resources.”
“It would be nice to finish well at home but what week has been easy for a team that plays in EuroLeague and League? Every week is a double week where you have to do a good job and then you have a really tough League game. We have to be prepared for every week to be difficult.
