Real Madrid Foundation ambassador Roberto Carlos has inaugurated the fourth edition of the World Challenge. The tournament, organised in collaboration with Kaptiva Sports, invites players from the Foundation's clinics and the Educational Football Program, and will have over 800 participants, from 10 to 14 years of age, including 72 teams from across 23 different countries. It's one of the key dates in the calendar for these young people, and a truly special experience for the players and their families, who get the chance to come to Real Madrid City and other nearby facilities to enjoy four intense days of sports and education in values together.

This edition will see 257 matches played, between 2,400 players. The participants come from the following nations: Spain, Canada, USA, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Turkey, Uruguay, Colombia, Brazil, UAE, Singapore , Japan, Mexico, Egypt, Australia, India, Malaysia and Azerbaijan.

The participants were excited to meet Roberto Carlos, who gave them a warm welcome to Madrid and wished them an enjoyable time and a special experience. Many of the players will also take in leisure and cultural events in Madrid, including a visit to the Santiago Bernabéu, in a fun-filled week of sports.
