Real Madrid won their third LaLiga title 71 years ago. The Whites clinched the title on 18 April 1954 with a brilliant victory over Valencia with one league matchday to spare (4-0). Di Stéfano, with a hat-trick, and Roque Olsen were the goal scorers in that match.

Real Madrid thus won LaLiga again, a competition they had not won since 1933. That season was the first for Alfredo Di Stéfano at our club, who not only began his legendary career with the league title but also won his first Pichichi Trophy.
