Collaboration agreement between the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid and Indiana University
Students from the School of Public Health of this American university will have the opportunity to carry out a study programme in Spain.
The Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid of the European University of Madrid and the Indiana University Bloomington School of Public Health have announced a new collaboration that provides students from the American university with a unique international experience in Madrid. This partnership brings the opportunity for these students to obtain valuable practical knowledge in the area of business and leadership of one of the world's most recognised brands: Real Madrid.
The agreement involves spring and autumn programmes, each consisting of four courses and a business plan project amounting to a total of 15 academic credits. Another option offered is a seven-week summer programme that involves two courses and earns six academic credits. The curriculum encompasses key areas: "Technical Management in Sports Entities", "Sports Marketing and Commercialisation", "Management of Major Events and Sports Venues" and "Management and Sales Techniques".
Innovative business plan projects
A highlight of the programme includes the "Business Plan" course". In this course, students collaborate on projects with prestigious companies associated with the Escuela Universitaria Real Madrid of the European University of Madrid. These projects lend a unique international perspective, nurturing the students' entrepreneurial skills and enabling them to apply the school's core values of entrepreneurship, leadership, integrity, teamwork and excellence.
The Real Madrid experience
All available programmes include the Real Madrid Experience. This exclusive annual event consists of conferences given by leading figures from the world of sport, covering topics such as marketing, digital transformation, venue management, and so on. Students also take a tour of Real Madrid's facilities and other places of interest in the Spanish capital, which provides them with a comprehensive understanding of different business models.
