On 14 January 2024, Real Madrid secured their 13th Spanish Super Cup. Ancelotti's boys defeated Barcelona in the final in Riyadh with a resounding 4-1 win. The Whites produced a great performance at the Al-Awwal Park stadium, where Vini Jr. was the star of the show and delivered a first-half masterclass, scoring a first-half hat-trick, with two goals coming in in three minutes. Lewandowski reduced the deficit, but Rodrygo sealed the win for Madrid.

On the road to the final, Real Madrid eliminated Atlético in the semi-finals. It was another superb match that was settled in extra time. (5-3). “We played very well in both games”, said club president, Florentino Pérez, at the end of the final. 

The Super Cup triumph saw Ancelotti further enhance his legacy at Real Madrid, as he became the joint-second coach in terms of trophies won, alongside Zidane, only behind Miguel Muñoz (14). " We started the final very well and Vinicius was in extraordinary form," said the coach.

With a 32-minute hat-trick, Vini Jr. was named MVP of the final. “I'm delighted with the trophy, the goals I managed to score and the way we played," said the Brazilian. Nacho also took centre stage as he lifted his first trophy as club captain, and Bellingham, who clinched his first trophy as a madridista.
